About Kievtractorodetal and Kievtractorodetal USA We are a large, employee owned metal manufacturing plant located in the heart of Kiev, Ukraine. Developing your machines and parts in Ukraine can be economical. Kievtractorodetal was opened in 1900, when the Kiev Polytechnical Institute organized mechanical shops. In 1930, a separate enterprise was begun based on these shops-it was known as the Lepse's shops. They were used to produce spare parts for tractors. As the plant began to grow, it required more space, so in 1957 it was moved to its present location. In 1972, the plant was renamed to Kievtractorodetal. With the end of the Soviet Union, in 1993 the employees purchased the stock of the collective enterprise "Kievtractorodetal". Today, the employees who number nearly 3,000 still own the company. The plant has in it disposal territory 33 ga. Total area of buildings is 164,200 square meters. Our shops consist of more than 4,000 units of technological equipment, including 2650 metal cutting machines, 145 foundries, 50 thermals, 160 welding machines and 200 blacksmith stations. To be more precise: · Metal cutting equipment -2,650 units; The output of our foundry shop is more than 50,000 tons
of cast iron and more than 5,000 tons of aluminum yearly. The weight of
the castings we create
ranges from 2 to 50 kg using GG10-GG25, GGG40-GGG60 cast iron. The dimensions
of a flask on the automatic foundry line press moulding are 900x600x250.
The forging shop outputs up to 10,000 tons yearly. The weight of the individual
products we forge can be from 1 to 20 kg. The maximum dimensions of forging
for round ones can be up to 300 mm; out-of-round forging - up to 400 mm.
Our enterprise exports products to more than 20 countries and produces a
wide range of goods, still including parts for tractors and engines for
automobiles, combines and a range of industrial equipment. We also manufacture
a line of finished agricultural equipment such as balers and cultivators. |
